This month we celebrate the power of coming together as our Biodiversity Ambassadors gathered in person for the first time. After years of connecting online and taking action in our own places, this moment offered an opportunity to share stories, exchange ideas, and strengthen the relationships at the heart of our shared commitment for biodiversity.

In nature, and in communities, resilience grows through connection. Togetherness reminds us that meaningful change is shaped through community, care, and a shared sense of purpose. 🌿

Spotlight: Gathering Together

Saturday, June 27th 2026 marked a special moment for Greenhouse Culture as our Biodiversity Ambassadors gathered in person for the first time.
​
Hosted at Carraig Dulra, permaculture farm and ecological learning space founded by fellow Biodiversity Ambassador Suzie Cahn and her husband Mike Cahn; facilitated by ecological artist Ashleigh Downey, the gathering was filled with conversation, connection, learning, and a shared sense of possibility.

In a time when ecological challenges can feel overwhelming, coming together reminds us that meaningful change is rooted in community. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this gathering so special. 🌱

We are deeply grateful to Community Foundation Ireland for supporting this in-person gathering through the Climate Actions Work Engagement Fund. The Biodiversity Ambassador Network grew from the Biodiversity Ambassador Programme - a Greenhouse Culture initiative in collaboration with Green Sod Ireland, bringing people together to champion biodiversity in their communities. 🌱

A family-run permaculture farm, ecological education centre, and social enterprise dedicated to ecological learning, biodiversity, community, and care for the land.

A very welcoming and inspiring space, designed for conversation, reflection, and shared experience, surrounded by nature. A fitting setting for our first Biodiversity Ambassador gathering. Well worth a visit!
